Beginning Experience is a peer ministry that provides support for
divorced, separated and widowed individuals to facilitate the resolution
of the grief from the end of a marriage or relationship and to promote healing.
Our key program is a Beginning Experience Weekend that runs from
Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.
After that, we offer six week post-weekend program called Continued Beginnings.
The next Beginning Experience Weekend sponsored by the San Jose team will be:
October 22-24, 2010.
The Weekends are conducted at Vallombrosa, a retreat center located in Menlo Park
and owned by the Archdiocese of San Francisco.
